The Swan Valley is Western Australia's oldest wine growing region and boasts a mixture of history, people, art, world-class wine, gourmet food and fresh produce – all in the surrounds of magnificent vineyards and breathtaking countryside.

Award-Winning Wineries

The region has a number of award-winning wineries, many of which are family owned and run. These wineries offer superb alfresco and restaurant meals as well as cellar door tastings. Swan Valley wineries are open for tasting all year round.

Award-Winning Food & Dining

Earning its title as Perth’s Valley of Taste, the Swan Valley is renowned for fine food. You will find dining experiences to suit all tastes. There are more than 90 restaurants and cafes, together with producers of fresh nougat, honey, chocolate and icecream. You can also pick up the freshest locally grown fruit and vegetables from roadside stalls. There’s even an apiary where you can see bees as they make honey, then taste this nectar!

Award-Winning Breweries

There are over 20 locally-made brews on offer in the region. Small batches and a swift turnaround mean that the microbrewery outlets in Swan Valley are always on the go. The organic pilsner and old-fashioned porter have been voted the best in Australia!
